'BE A GIANT' Campaign

Regardless of your age or stature in life, you have the opportunity to 'Be A Giant' everyday by maintaining your own personal growth and by respecting those around you.  The Youth of Honor team encourages you to start TODAY- be a giant - and assist others in realizing that positive, cooperative efforts can bring good to everyone. Read on to see how easy it is to get started.

 

Using your mouse, hover over each of the key words encircling the image of the globe on the left to discover how you can begin your own personal journey.  Each word reveals a lesson you can implement immediately.  All it takes is a willingness to change your perception and behavior and soon you will be a leader at home, in your classroom, with your friends, and in your community positively impacting the world we all share. Be A Giant  - 'I AM A GIANT'

'Be A Giant' Give-a-way
With the launch of our 'Be A Giant' campaign the Youth of Honor team invites youth from around the world to participate in our Be A Giant T-Shirt Give-a-way.  All you have to do is write a paragraph describing how you are a giant at home, or in the classroom, or with your friends, or in the community or for our environment.  All submissions will be reviewed by the Youth of Honor team and a select number of our key supporters with prizes being awarded. Prizes will be Youth of Honor merchandise, including the 'Be A Giant' campaign T-Shirt, which is currently only available through this give-a-way.   Before submitting your paragraph, please review the following rules and guidelines so your submission will be accepted and potentially get you a free gift.  We know that you are already doing giant-like activities so why not submit today.
 Rules:
  • - Paragraph must be 250 words or less
  • - Submissions can be emailed to info@youthofhonor.org with the subject 'Be A Giant Give-a-way'

  * You can also mail it to:

  • - Essay should indicate which 'Giant Dimension'  (ie. Home, Classroom, Friends, Community, Environment) that the submission falls under

With your submission, you are authorizing Youth of Honor to publish your essay on our website.  When published, the author's initials will be shown in lieu of full name to preserve the youth's identity.



'Be A Giant' Paintings for the Community Program
Through the  generous support of acclaimed artist, Eugene Poole, the Youth of Honor team is proud to announce a unique opportunity for your business, church group, organization or even your neighborhood to build team spirit while participating in some volunteer opportunities.  In addition, this program allows you to afford an immeasurable impact to a school or youth group in your community when you become partners with them, and your volunteers endeavor to paint either the right side or the left side of this double painting (or a similar design of your choosing).

In this joint venture, the school or youth group that you are partnering with will paint the other side.  Once the two sides are brought together as one, the finished product will hang in the gallery of the school or youth group (or even your organization) for all to observe the partnership you have garnered with the youth in your community.  What better way to make a difference in the lives of our youth than to work together in a collaborative effort that screams "We support you!"?
